PsyD in Clinical Psychology from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon, 2004; MS in Clinical Psychology from Pacific University in 2002; BA in Psychology from University of Washington, in Seattle, 1996. Washington State certified Chemical Dependency Professional (CDP) in 2007. Washington State licensed Psychologist in 2005.
Past Experience
Dr. Coan previously instructed as adjunct faculty at Bastyr University, Lake Washington Technical College, and Argosy University. She has also been in practice as a mental health therapist, supervisor, and chemical dependency/co-occurring disorders therapist at Seattle Mental Health.
Current Roles
As core faculty at Bastyr, Dr. Coan teaches a variety of courses in the Psychology Department to both undergraduate and graduate students, and has supervised counseling shifts at Bastyr's Health and Wellness Clinic in Seattle. Additionally, Dr. Coan is a Licensed Psychologist in private practice in Kirkland at Triple Leaf Counseling.
