Past Experience
Dr. Anderson was in practice as a master optician between 1980 and 1993. He taught at National College of Naturopathic Medicine between 1994 and 2002, and maintained a general medical practice in Oregon between 1997 and 2003. Between 2003 and 2005 he maintained a private and teaching practice in Arizona and was full time faculty at Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine. Between 1980 and 2006 he has taught as adjunct or visiting professor at all U.S. naturopathic medical schools, as well as many other universities and colleges.
Current Roles
Dr. Anderson is core faculty member in the naturopathic medicine program and provides clinical supervision at Bastyr Center for Natural Health.

Interests
Dr. Anderson is interested in helping to train the best qualified physicians in the world. He believes that a well trained naturopathic physician is the physician best equipped to help the greatest number of people in need.
Philosophy
Dr. Anderson believes that teaching clinical medicine is best accomplished by providing guidance, mentoring, a positive example and other basic tools that physicians in training need to grow into the doctor they are to be.
