Dr. Hibbs is a clinical faculty member at Bastyr Center for Natural Health and is also in private practice in Seattle, Washington.
Interests
Dr. Hibbs practices family medicine (the care of infants, children, adults and elders) with 20 years of experience and expertise in endocrine (hormonal) disorders, gynecology and menopause, men's health including prostate cancer, allergies, food allergies, digestive problems, alternative therapies for cancer, viral hepatitis B and C, environmental illness and detoxification of heavy metals and chemicals.
Philosophy
Dr. Hibbs believes that following the principles of naturopathic medicine (respect for the body's ability to heal itself and the healing powers of nature) combined with cooperation and coordination of all the patient's health care providers will bring about the best possible individual care. He uses nutrition, plant medicine, diet and lifestyle modification in his practice and believes that good food, sleep, exercise and a strong purpose in life are essential for health and happiness.
