Bastyr University has definitely changed my life. I've received so much nourishment here. The University has a sense of community that I have never experienced before and I have really flourished here. I have become involved in the community, taking positions on student council and as a student representative for the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians. Through that, I've gained confidence and clarity about who I am and what my role will be as a natural health care provider. Now I know that a large part of my career will involve the political and legislative side of natural medicine, where I'll work to help give more people access to this type of health care.

One of the best parts of my education has been treating patients at the teaching clinic. Seeing how natural medicine positively affects patients is so inspiring, and I fall in love with the medicine every day. Patients appreciate having a space to say things that I don't think they have ever said to a doctor before.

I explored other schools, but visiting Bastyr's campus is what really made a difference. I felt more comfortable and it just felt right. I haven't looked back since.
