The Library is pleased to offer lifelong borrowing privileges to all Bastyr alumni. We have an extensive array of resources to support you in your practice and research.
The Bastyr University Library has the most complete collection of books and journals on complementary and alternative medicine in the Pacific Northwest including 11,000 volumes and 250 journal subscriptions. Our Historical Collection comprises many early and rare books.
Sixteen Pentium computers are available in the Library's Periodical Room. Databases and CD-ROMs include MEDLINE, AltHealth Watch, AMED, Cochrane Library, Natural Medicines Comprehensive Database, IBIS, Food Processor, and PsycINFO. You can also access some databases remotely; contact Library staff for details.
Other useful resources include over 4000 audiotapes and 500 videotapes, primarily lectures and documentaries. Please contact us for more information about our services. We would also like your suggestions on how we can better serve the Bastyr University alumni community.
