Briefly describe your personal history:
I graduated in 1997 and I have been practicing acupuncture since then. I practice
in an integrated setting with chiropractors and massage therapists.
Briefly describe your practice (business model):
I started Acupuncture Associates, P.S., which is a corporate model that I hope
to grow and spread throughout the Puget Sound area. I currently have offices
in Bellevue and Mill Creek. The model incorporates bringing in new graduates
as residents. After training, I hope to bring them in to a partnership level
and expect the process to continue with the partner bringing in new graduates
to train.
How is natural medicine accepted in your region?
The acceptance is growing every day!
What do you find to be the most interesting aspect of practicing?
To be able to help people the way they deserve. To be able to serve and connect
with many people in my practice.
What do you consider your winning business strategies?
Educating the public about acupuncture and its many benefits. I am also aggressive
with my marketing.
What keeps you motivated to practice?
My mission to help and serve people and the community.
What is/has been your most useful resource?
To have a great network among health care providers.
What’s “next” for you? Where would you like to place your
energies?
To keep expanding my practice and get involved in politics.
What are some of your interests/hobbies outside of medicine?
Fishing, yoga and MUSIC
