Adam Silberman Represents Bastyr University at Northwest Naturopathic Physicians Convention

Bastyr University California student Adam Silberman will represent Bastyr as a finalist for the Student Scholarship Series at the Northwest Naturopathic Physicians Convention (NWNPC) in Vancouver, British Columbia, April 25-27.

The annual scholarship program is open to naturopathic medicine students at all three West Coast naturopathic medical schools. The competition requires a video of each candidate presenting a three-minute speech on the six principles of naturopathic medicine. From those submittals, a panel of naturopathic doctors (NDs) selects one finalist from each school. Each finalist will present a ten-minute speech on an assigned topic at the annual conference, where a final winner is chosen.

This is Adam’s second year as a finalist. At last year’s convention, he presented a speech on “Empathy and Patient Outcomes” and was awarded second place. In addition to being a full time ND student, Adam is active in leadership roles and legislative efforts to support integrative health care.
