Designed to provide an introduction to complementary and alternative
medicine (CAM) as practiced though naturopathic medicine (NM). Educational
methods include small group discussions, laboratory practicums, clinical
observations and patient experience.
Teachers present information on history, politics, clinical theory, clinical
case analysis and CAM therapies. CAM therapies covered include botanical
medicine, homeopathy, midwifery, Ayurvedic medicine, meditation
in health, massage and different energetic therapies.
