The information in this course is advanced and essential to pass a ABORM examination. This seminar is designed to lay the foundation regarding the role of TCM in the treatment of fertility, while keeping in mind western criteria such as labs and diagnosis. Topics to be discussed will be general female fertility, treating with the cycle, BBT charting and how to interpret in TCM, acupuncture and herbs in regards to the phases of the cycle, egg quality and epigenetics. This introduction to cadaver anatomy is designed for practitioners in any area of health care to review basic human anatomy and observe firsthand the underlying structures of the body. The class is offered in fall, winter and spring terms. The winter term class has a special focus on anatomy relating to acupressure and acupuncture points. Class times are: Sat. November 4 and Sun. Did you know that you (the general public) can take many of the University's regular academic courses, assuming extra seats are available and you have the required prerequisites?

You can either audit classes or take them for credit. These 11-week classes, usually held on weekdays, are available in the nutrition, culinary arts, exercise science, health psychology and herbal sciences programs.
