This interactive training covers information about relaxation and stress reduction through the application of pairs of tuning forks held at the ears. These techniques are easy to learn and use, have rapid and repeatable effects (some protocols take only three minutes), and are complementary to any other health care modality. Health practitioners may incorporate into their client treatments, as well as use for self-care. The general public may use these techniques with family members or for benefit to their own health. This course will provide participants with hands-on techniques on how to palpate, evaluate, and re-instate the motility, vitality, and mobility of each organ in the gastrointestinal system by positioning the organ back into alignment. Instruction will also be given on how to align the supportive capsule, neural, venous and arterial supply to the organ, which can prove to be the most influential correction when realigning the organ. This course follows the traditional Osteopathic teachings according to 125 years of philosophy and is unique to other programs offered today. It is indicated for both the beginner and advanced hand. Audit a Class @ Bastyr

Did you know that you (the general public) can take many of the University's regular academic courses, assuming extra seats are available and you have the required prerequisites?

You can either audit classes or take them for credit. These 11-week classes, usually held on weekdays, are available in the nutrition, culinary arts, exercise science, health psychology and herbal sciences programs.
