This experiential class is for anyone interested in presenting sound meditation experiences. In this weekend course, you will learn what makes a balanced sonic meditation experience using different types of sonic tools so that you can create your Sound Meditation experience for any occasion. Bring your singing bowls, bells, drums, gongs, tuning forks on the 2nd day to incorporate into the meditation. Especially good for professionals who want to incorporate this sound healing into their practice for the benefit of their patients who experience stress and anxiety. This Introductory workshop will introduce the basic theories of how light and color effect the body. We will share the biophoton research of Fritz Popp and the Necker Institute in Paris demonstrating biophoton movement on meridian pathways. The workshop includes training in methods for treating hormone imbalance, lymph drainage, learning and brain coordination problems, immune strengthening, and spinal pain. Did you know that you (the general public) can take many of the University's regular academic courses, assuming extra seats are available and you have the required prerequisites?

You can either audit classes or take them for credit. These 11-week classes, usually held on weekdays, are available in the nutrition, culinary arts, exercise science, health psychology and herbal sciences programs.
