Acupunture Shift Supervisor Assistant

The Acupuncture & East Asian Medicine Department is hiring Supervisor Assistants to work at Bastyr Center for Natural Health in Seattle, WA during the Spring 2017 Quarter. Duties: Instructional duties and responsibilities include assisting the supervision of student clinicians in all aspects of patient contact including intake, physical exam, assessment, diagnosis, needling, moxibustion, cupping, and life style counseling. Instruction and correction of various, standard TCM techniques may be required. Qualifications: Candidate must have a master’s degree in acupuncture or acupuncture and Oriental medicine. This position does require attending clinical rotations in the University teaching clinic and therefore applicants must be currently licensed as L.Ac/EAMP in Washington. Experience with electronic health records preferred. Applicants also must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. & have current credentialing including CPR, BBPE & Hep B. Work schedule: Hours vary, scheduled in 4 hour increments, Monday- Saturday morning. Most of these shifts were covered, but someone just cancelled and now we have an abundance of openings at the last minute! At this point we have the following openings: Monday: 5-9p Friday: 8a-12p Friday: 1p-5p Saturday: 9a-1p Salary: $21.00/hour Review of applicants will begin immediately and continue until the positions are filled. Positions will begin on April 3, 2017 and go thru June 17, 2017.
