As another school year began in fall 2002, 24 students from the acupuncture and Oriental medicine (AOM) department continued their studies in China-three at Chengdu University and 21 at Shanghai University. Dual track (ND and AOM) student Elizabeth Marazita has been sending weekly updates from Shanghai, where clinical faculty member Steve Given, MS, LAc, is also studying. Core faculty member Dr. Qiang Cao, ND, LAc, MD (China), also accompanied the Shanghai group for the first week. The following are colorful student journals describing the trip's highlights.
