The series continues Saturday, November 21, with the conversation "Healthy Social Eating During the Holidays," featuring Michelle Babb, MS, RD, CD. Michelle Babb is a faculty practitioner at Bastyr Center for Natural Health in the nutrition department. She gained extensive experience as a clinical nutritionist and research investigator at the Functional Medicine Research Center, where she provided nutrition counseling and education for patients with chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, autoimmune disease, diabetes and other conditions.  Babb received her BA in communications with an emphasis on public relations from Washington State University and her MS in nutrition and completion of the didactic program in dietetics from Bastyr University. Babb is also a certified FirstLine Therapy lifestyle educator (providing comprehensive counseling for weight management through therapeutic lifestyle changes), and a certified Shapedown provider, implementing family-focused strategies to combat overweight and obesity in children, adolescents and teens.
