The Naturopathic Physicians Licensing Examinations (NPLEX) are administered by the North American Board of Naturopathic Examiners, an independent organization. Students take a basic sciences exam after their second year of naturopathic medical school and a clinical skills exam after receiving their degree. Passing both portions allows graduates to become licensed as naturopathic doctors (NDs) in states and provinces that license the profession.
