Current Roles

Dr. Rouhani is a core faculty member at Bastyr University California and clinical faculty member at Bastyr University Clinic.


  • BS in biomedical engineering from Arizona State University in 2001
  • MS in biomedical engineering from Arizona State University in 2001
  • Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2005
  • Doctor of Chiropractic from University of Western States in Portland, Oregon, in 2013

Past Experience

Dr. Rouhani has helped many professional athletes in the National Football League and the National Hockey League reach their peak performance through his integrative approach to medicine. He was previously a faculty member in the Division of Basic Sciences at University of Western States and at the Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture and an adjunct faculty at Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine.

Classes Taught

Physical Medicine 3-4, Integrative Immunology Pathology and Infectious Diseases 1-6, and Integrative Case Studies 4-6.

Clinical Interests

Dr. Rouhani utilizes all modalities of naturopathic medicine including herbal medicine, homeopathy, physical medicine, clinical nutrition, traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), and hydrotherapy, among others. 


Dr.  Rouhani believes that patients and he can achieve health goals through a mutual partnership. “Patients don’t like to be pushed or rushed to do something by their medical doctor," he says. "It’s much better when I listen to you and we work together as a team on your health.”
