Bastyr University is seeking a Support Specialist in our Academic Services Department. This position will provide immediate assistance to faculty, staff, and students with basic desktop and classroom support issues. This person is also responsible for A/V equipment scheduling, set-up, delivery/pickup, user education, inventory and maintenance in support of faculty, students and administration.
High school diploma or GED and minimum 2 year’s relevant work experience handling A/V equipment. Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office, Windows 10, O-365, and occasionally Adobe Acrobat; experience with A/V production a plus. Applicants must be detail oriented and proficient in the operation & maintenance of electronic/media equipment. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and have good customer service skills, excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize duties to meet tight deadlines.
