The Simkin Center at Bastyr University is seeking an Administrative Assistant in Kenmore. The Administrative Assistant develops relationships with and provides first line customer service to prospective students and is an essential contributor to our small but passionate team.
HS diploma, some college preferred, strong interest in maternal-child health and the childbirth professions. Minimum of 2 years progressively responsible administrative office support, preferably in higher education.
Candidates must have demonstrated customer service and work accurately with attention to detail; have excellent communication skills and a welcoming, professional demeanor. This person must possess strong problem solving skills; ability to work independently on routine tasks, and experience with data entry/recordkeeping. We are looking for someone who will be committed to Simkin Center at Bastyr mission and goals. Must be confident and experienced with MS Office Suite, social media, online learning and webinar systems.
This is a part-time, 32 hours per week position; occasional evening and weekend hours necessary. Salary range $17.00-18.50 per hour + comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental & vision, 403b plans, Section 125 plans and generous paid time-off.
