Gift and Data

Oversee fundraising gift entry in the Raiser’s Edge Database, along with batch preparation for Finance. Generate gift acknowledgements and other donor-related correspondence, including tracking and invoicing outstanding donor pledges. Assist with maintaining the quality and integrity of the donor database and all donor data (bio updates, actions and notes). Other data integrity projects as assigned by supervisor.

Administrative Support

Order office supplies and equipment for the Development Team. Arrange for office maintenance and repairs. Conduct donor and prospect research. Assist with event preparation and provide event support, including cultivation/discovery events and programs, fundraising events and other University programs.

Position type: 


Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of experience, education and training. Knowledge of Raiser’s Edge or equivalent fundraising software preferred. At least one year of progressively responsible administrative support experience in a fast-paced office setting, preferably in a fundraising or higher education executive office. Experience in writing, editing, proofreading own correspondence. Extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint required). Well organized, highly detail-oriented and accurate, ability to multi-task and work well under pressure with shifting deadlines and exercises due diligence. Must handle confidentiality appropriately and professionally; must communicate professionally, diplomatically and effectively with all internal and external customers from diverse populations.


Some event experience a plus.
