Women’s ND Leadership Mentor Program

Women’s ND Leadership Mentor Program

Body

Program Overview

Bastyr University’s Women’s ND Leadership Mentor Program offers a mentor-mentee relationship approach that is tailored to prepare new graduates for successful careers in naturopathic medicine. The program is geared to benefit new naturopathic doctors (NDs) who are poised for successful futures and could benefit from personal and professional coaching to ensure they achieve their career goals.

A mentor-mentee relationship is rewarding for both parties. In addition to positioning graduates for success early on, interacting with new doctors prompts seasoned mentors to reflect on their own career successes as well. As they summarize their years of experience, they come to value how much they’ve learned and what they have to offer. Mentors are also re-invigorated as they unite with the passion and fresh perspective of students.

Cycle 1 of this program will match 10 seasoned and successful NDs with 100 next-generation NDs.  To learn about this cycle's ND mentors, click here.
