Here is a good news story about homeopathy:
A 70 year old woman comes for her “dark mood.” In that synchronistic way we work (if our own “vital force” is aligned), it came out that she had spent a year in bed when she was 9 for rheumatic fever, and took Penicillin that whole year. Looking over the homeopathic proving for Penicillin, it turns out that indeed a kind of darkness of mind can take over. So, she was given 3 doses of Penicillin 200c. Two weeks later she called and said, “you know how my feet always hurt and I go to the podiatrist every month to help me with my bunions? Well, my feet don’t hurt any more. This is a miracle!” Surprised, the homeopath said, “Great! And, by the way, how is your mood?” She paused and said, “what mood?”
In homeopathy, again and again we are reminded to keep track of the thread of what’s important about human life and what we are truly wanting to heal or bring to full alignment so that the truth of Aphorism 9 can be realized:
“… [That] the reasoning spirit who inhabits our organism can thus freely use this healthy living instrument to reach the lofty goal of human existence.”
When we hold onto our calling to help people reach the “lofty goal of human existence,” we are in another realm of understanding. What needs to be healed? Where is the person locked out of his/her manifestation of human loveliness? How things come together in that “aha moment” when the remedy is revealed is a joy! A find! Those “finds” comes a little more frequently with years of disciplined study, practice and learning from and with each other, as well as keeping ourselves in balance and harmony!
Once again we invite you to the Cured Case Conference where 4 homeopaths from the Northwest will show you how they walked the road to find a remedy that made a difference in someone’s life, how they found the needle in the proverbial haystack. Where’s the Remedy? is indeed like looking for Waldo! But finding this remedy made all the difference. This year we are pleased to welcome back 2 inspiring practitioners: Doug Brown and Stephen King, both of whom have such depth of wisdom, insight and long years of practice. And we have two new presenters: Alicia Gonzalez and Patricia Kay, who are coming to share their insights and gifts of seeing.
