Registration

How to Register 

The best way to register is online with your credit card. It's quick, easy and secure. Go to our Course Calendar, find the course you wish to register for, and click on "Register Now"

You can also register via the following ways:

  • By phone: 425.602.3152
  • By appointment: Room 108 on the Bastyr University campus.
  • Please contact continuinged@bastyr.edu to schedule an appointment.

Cancellations & Refunds

Please submit your request in writing by email to continuinged@bastyr.edu. Unless otherwise specified in the individual course descriptions, cancellations or transfers can be made up to 14 calendar days before the first day of the course to receive a refund, (minus credit card processing fees).

For live classes, no refunds are granted for cancellations made with less than 14-days’ notice from the course start date.
For asynchronous classes, once you have accepted access to the course material no refunds will be granted.

Participants registered for a multi-module course or program (ex: Ayurvedic Health Advisor) will not be refunded for any missed sessions and may not receive certificates of completion for partial completion of a seminar.

Bastyr University reserves the right to cancel courses with insufficient enrollment, in which case a full refund will be granted to those registered (minus credit card processing fees)
Please note: Dropping a class in our Catalog registration system does not grant you a refund, nor does it notify BU CCCE Department of a dropped registration. You must submit your cancellation request in writing to be eligible for a refund of any kind.

 

Additional Certificate Requests

Bastyr University will keep records of continuing education certificates on file for 3 years. Additional copies of a certificate will not be issued after 3 years from the end of the last course date.

Name changes on certificates can be made within the same 3 year period. To request a certificate re-issue with a name change, please contact us at continuinged@bastyr.edu with the course title, date of completion, your previously recorded name, and proof of legal name change. 

FERPA

Bastyr University adheres to FERPA guidelines (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act).

 

Transportation & Parking

Transportation from Sea-Tac Airport

The Bastyr campus is a 40 to 90 minute drive from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, depending on time of day and traffic. Shuttle Express (1-800-487-7433) offers door-to-door service, as do commercial taxis. There are no bus routes that can get you closer than 1.5 miles from campus.

We advise that you park in the main parking lot in front of the pillars at the building entrance, or in a lot nearby.

Parking is free for our Bastyr guests. However, a guest pass is recommended to be displayed on your dashboard. With a guest pass displayed on your dash you can park in any spot that is not reserved for a special population (i.e., handicap, carpool, faculty, board members and the president). 

There are various ways to obtain a guest parking pass:

  • Visitors to campus Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.: Stop at the reception office for a guest pass. Reception is located under the pillars at the building entrance.
  • Contact the continuing education department: Email continuinged@bastyr.edu or call (425) 602-3152, and we will email you a pass that you can print out at home.

 

Where to Stay

Campus Lodging

Rooms may be available in Bastyr's dorm-style room on the 5th floor of the main building. To read descriptions, rooms rates, and how to book a room please open campus lodging (pdf).

Area Hotels

Several hotels are located within 10 miles of Bastyr.  The only hotel within walking distance is about a five minute walk from campus at The Lodge at St Edward Park.
You will most likely need a car, or you can take a taxi or rideshare service to our campus.
