Bastyr University graduates perform well on the NPLEX examinations. The tables below show the percentage of Bastyr graduates who passed the sections of the August 2016 NPLEX exam, compared with the average of students from all seven accredited schools of naturopathic medicine.
The Naturopathic Physicians Licensing Examinations (NPLEX) are administered by the North American Board of Naturopathic Examiners, an independent organization. Students take a basic sciences exam after their second year of naturopathic medical school and a clinical skills exam after receiving their degree. Passing both portions allows graduates to become licensed as naturopathic doctors (NDs) in states and provinces that license the profession.
