Bastyr University provides a number of ways for members of the general public to explore and develop their academic, professional and personal interests. If you are a health professional, you can also fulfill your continuing education units (CEUs) through the University.
Continuing Education Courses
A wide variety non-credit seminars are offered at Bastyr. Explore topics such as home remedies for colds, whole-foods cooking, yoga, qigong and much more.
Birth Professions Training
Bastyr offers training programs for birth doulas, postpartum doulas, and lactation and childbirth educators. Open to professionals and the public.
Classes Open to the Public
Members of the public can take many of the University's regular academic courses, assuming seats are available and prerequisites are met.
Center for Health Policy & Leadership
This University-based, nonpartisan center hosts forums where citizens can analyze and comment on health policy and leadership issues.
Center for Mind, Body, Spirit and Nature
The center is home to a variety of public programs and conferences examining connections between spirituality, science, nature and medicine.
