About Bastyr Center for Health

Learn more about who we are and what you can expect as a patient.

Bastyr Center for Natural Health is the largest natural health clinic in the Pacific Northwest, offering as many as 35,000 patient visits a year. Our natural, non-invasive approach takes into account the whole person, which means longer appointments to ensure that you feel heard, respected, and understood. Located in Seattle's Fremont/Wallingford neighborhood, Bastyr Center aims to help people resolve chronic health problems or just support a healthy lifestyle that helps prevent illness through appointments in:

The nonprofit clinic also provides basic natural health care to diverse, often underserved, populations through its Community Care Sites. The program consists of sites throughout the Puget Sound area where advanced students in naturopathic medicine and acupuncture provide free or reduced-rate care under the supervision of Bastyr clinical faculty.

Bastyr Center at a Glance

We provide a Team Care approach that involves one licensed, experienced practitioner and two or three advanced student clinicians, all invested in the outcome of your care. Our teams become partners in your health care, working together with you to discover your own unique route to wellness. If you prefer to see a licensed clinician one-on-one, appointments also are available in private practice.

At our clinics, we prioritize a team care approach that includes student involvement, which is essential for training future physicians, acupuncturists, and other healthcare providers.

For patients seeking a one-on-one visit with a provider, we also offer practitioner care or "private practice" appointments. These private care visits may be more costly and are typically shorter than team care appointments.

If you are considering this option, please talk with our staff when scheduling your appointment to find the best fit for your needs.
