Greg Yasuda
ND
Dr. Yasuda is an associate professor in the School of Naturopathic Medicine who focuses extensively on physical medicine as and instructor, clinical supervisor and in private practice.
"My goal is to restore motion in a static system. Life is motion – literally. Everything needs to move: joints, lungs, blood, electrolytes, wastes, emotions…and if we lose motion, we will lose function to some extent. By restoring motion that was lost, we restore function to the part, the system, the whole being…we unencumber each patient's innate healing potential to do what no doctor can heal - and this is my hope for everyone."
Greg Yasuda, ND, VNMI, is a 2003 graduate from Bastyr University. As a didactic and clinical faculty member there since 2008 and the Associate Dean of Academics from 2018-2021, he has placed a strong emphasis on holism, helping students and patients capitalize on their unique strengths in navigating their journeys toward health and healing. His areas of particular interest include physical medicine, philosophy and the role of belonging as a social determinant of health as well as a means of understanding group dynamics and promoting inclusivity.
