Dr. Parkinson is a clinical faculty member at Bastyr Center for Natural Health, supervising general patient care and physical medicine shifts. He has a private practice in Practitioner Care at Bastyr Center for Natural Health. He is also Bastyr's attending physician at the 45th Street Homeless Youth Clinic, where he supervises health care for homeless and at-risk youth.
Dr. Parkinson practices general naturopathic medicine with a focus on physical medicine. He utilizes botanical medicine, nutritional interventions, homeopathy, counseling, lifestyle modifications and physical medicine to facilitate healing.
Dr. Parkinson believes in the core principles of naturopathic medicine and emphasizes the homeopathic concept of removing all obstacles that stand in the way of a cure. He utilizes conventional laboratory and diagnostic techniques in conjunction with complementary and alternative methods, striving to choose therapeutic interventions that are in the best interests of his patients.
