Lynelle Golden
Ph.D.
Dr. Golden is the dean of the School of Natural Health Arts and Sciences.
Previous to her role as dean, Dr. Golden was a professor in the Department of Basic Sciences as well as interim associate dean. Previous to Bastyr University, she was an adjunct professor at North Seattle Community College and an assistant and associate professor at Kennesaw State University.
Dr. Golden's interests include cardiovascular physiology, endocrinology and exercise physiology, the scholarship of teaching and learning, and the development of new programs and innovative curriculum.
Education:
- Ph.D., M.S. in life sciences/physiology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville
- B.S. in biology from Emory University, Atlanta Georgia
- Postdoctoral Research Fellow in cardiovascular diseases at the University of Alabama at Birmingham
