This position is most often the first contact to students, faculty and other visitors to the SNM and requires a friendly demeanor and a willingness to assist at all times. The position provides support to the Program Supervisor, Dean and Associate Deans, including special projects, manage all calendars. Coordinate Work-study students requested by faculty. This requires close cooperation with Financial Aid Department and faculty. Record, type, copy and distribute meeting minutes and agenda; document preparation and processing and maintaining filing systems. Coordinate travel and lodging arrangements for faculty, Dean and Associate Dean(s) as needed. 


Naturopathic Medicine
Position type: 

Undergraduate degree and minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in a busy, active, administrative office setting; progressive experience with computers and various software. Progressive experience assisting in prioritizing and managing projects to deadline. Coordination and communication with personnel from multiple interacting departments, team oriented. Bachelor’s degree preferred; prior academic administrative experience may be considered in lieu of educational requirements. Must be able to maintain confidentiality (works with highly confidential materials). Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must have demonstrable skills with editing, English grammar and writing protocols. Ability to produce in Microsoft Word and Excel. Strong customer service skills: maintain a warm and friendly demeanor, ability to be sensitive to a variety of people, problem solve, refer appropriately and prioritize. Ability to file using alphabetical and numerical filing system.
