Bastyr University, a private, regionally accredited institution, is seeking a wellness enthusiast, with solid experience as a fundraising professional, to manage our fundraising efforts in Washington state and California. The ideal candidate will be a fundraising generalist with proven success in securing major gifts, an understanding of data and development reports, annual giving programs, fundraising events, and other philanthropic giving channels. The position will be located at our Kenmore, Washington campus.

Reporting to the Vice President of Advancement and Enrollment Services (VPAES), who has deep history with and clear understanding of the challenges of development work, the Associate Director of Development will participate in responsibilities such as being a hands-on manager of a small but growing team of fundraising professionals, developing and implementing strategies and programs for all aspects of the University’s fundraising activities, securing major philanthropic donations, designing and directing fundraising events, and managing the Raiser’s Edge donor database.

This is a full-time, 40 hours per week position. Salary range is commensurate with experience +comprehensive benefits package which includes Health, Dental & Vision, 403b plans, Section 125 plans and generous paid time-off.
