Job Title: Coding and Compliance SpecialistBastyr University’s Center for Natural Health in Wallingford is now hiring a friendly, outgoing and hardworking individual as a coding /insurance benefit specialist. This person must be able to audit electronic medical records, give feedback to providers, teach students how to meet coding requirements, and help support a busy billing office. Candidates should have experience with ICD10 and CPT coding, worked in a medical office or healthcare setting providing “top-notch” customer service. Must possess good organizational skills and handle tasks in a fast-paced work environment, in addition to working well with others and independently. Familiarity with Natural Medicine is preferred. Qualifications: Preferred coding certification, high school diploma or equivalent experience required; College or post high school training desired. ‘Epic’ practice management software experience a plus. Must have excellent English language skills, both written and verbal. Must be skilled in Microsoft Office Suite. This position is 40 hours per week Monday through Friday.
