Bastyr University is seeking an experienced and dedicated Manager, Continuing and Community Education Program.

Compensation$23.63 - $27.16/hr. , DOE

Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 8am -5pm

POSITION SUMMARY

The CCE Manager is responsible for conducting needs assessment and feasibility of programs, day to day operations, manager course offerings and registration, they work with the Director to develop new course content and manage existing programs.  Manage day to day operations and communicate with both internal and external costumers to provide CCE programs.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Mange courses from conception to implementation such as CE applications and compliance, course registration, class room set-up both in person and online and communications.
  2. Oversee CE credits and certificates and comply with all CE standards, best practices and accreditation guidelines.
  3. Process pre and post class transactions, recording keeping, roasters, liability forms.
  4. Work closely with Presenters to set-up class in Canvas and provide the  materials need to run the class virtually and in-person
  5. Act as first line of contact for all CCE course inquiries, email, phone, and in-person. 
  6. Manage payment processing, deposits and refunds and end of month closing.
  7. Comply with company and policies and procedures including regular attendance.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Assist the Senior Director of University Events, Guest Service and Continuing, Community Education. 
  2. Works collaboratively with various internal departments such as IT, Marketing, Facilities, and Academics.
  3. Team member of University Events, Guest Services and Continuing, Community Education department.
  4. Updates Policies and procedures as needed.
  5. Reports to Senior Director of University Events, Guest Services, and Continuing, Community Education.

QUALIFICATION

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Bachelor’s degree in job-related field or a significant combination of educational and related experience.
  2. Knowledge of current CE credentialing requirements and applicable Continuing, Community education experience
  3. Have an ability to work a flexible schedule as needed.
  4. Must be able to work for stationary or standing and moving around for long periods of time. 
  5. Technical Proficiency in Microsoft office suite, including outlook, PowerPoint, word, and excel. 
  6. Ability to work independently.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 

  1. Experience working in events and /or higher education.
  2. Demonstrated success in delivering high quality customer service.
  3. Highly organized, able to multi-task, detail oriented and able to meet deadlines.
  4. Excellent writing skills and verbal communication.
  5. Familiarity with Canvas, Catalog, Zoom.
