Bastyr University’s Center for Natural Health in Wallingford is looking for a Medical Billing and A/R Specialist to handle daily billing of electronic claims. This person will be responsible for ensuring claims are filed successfully and cleanly, to ensure prompt reimbursement. They will be responsible for daily cash posting, deposits, and reconciliation of all monies collected and/or deposited in the Business Office. The Medical Billing and A/R Specialist will assist in handling patient calls.
BA/BS degree in related area or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training required. 2-3 years of experience in a medical office (bookkeeping, account medical billing). 1-2 years of experience providing excellent customer service or public contact experience needed. EPIC experience a plus. Must have high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
