Why Most Health Goals Don’t Stick—and How to Make 2026 Different
Published
Each January, nearly 70% of adults set health-related goals, yet research shows that only about 8–10% actually achieve them. Most resolutions are abandoned within the first six weeks of the year. The problem isn’t motivation or discipline. It’s that most people are trying to change their health without a clear plan or meaningful support.
This winter, we are offering a small, guided group program designed to help patients enter 2026 with structure, support, and a strong foundation for lasting health change.
Rather than relying on willpower or sweeping resolutions, this program focuses on the fundamentals that allow the body to heal naturally when properly supported: digestion, nourishment, rest, movement, nervous system regulation, and alignment with natural rhythms. When these foundations are in place, change becomes not only possible, but sustainable.
The program brings together patients and student clinicians in a carefully facilitated experience that combines education, accountability, community, and hands-on care, so you are not doing this alone.
Each session begins with a group educational component focused on the core determinants of health. These discussions help clarify how daily habits influence energy, immunity, hormones, mood, and resilience. The goal is not information overload, but understanding, knowing where to begin and why certain changes matter for your body.
A guided goal-setting workshop follows education. Knowledge alone does not create change; action does. You will be supported in identifying realistic, meaningful health goals and developing a clear plan to implement them. This process emphasizes consistency, nervous system safety, and progress over perfection, helping you build habits that can actually carry forward through the year.
Following the group portion, each patient pairs with a student clinician for an individual session of Constitutional Hydrotherapy. This classic naturopathic therapy uses alternating hot and cold applications to the torso to stimulate circulation, support digestion, calm the nervous system, and activate the body’s innate healing response. Many patients report feeling deeply grounded, clearer, and more regulated afterward, an ideal state for building new routines.
Most health goals fail because people attempt to change everything at once, without support, while already stressed or depleted. This program does the opposite. It provides structure, accountability, and continuity. It builds health from the foundations up rather than chasing symptoms. And it emphasizes small, sustainable shifts that compound over time.
This shift is ideal if you have previously set health goals that didn’t stick, feel chronically stressed or fatigued, want to improve digestion, sleep, or energy, or are seeking preventive, whole-person care. You do not need to be in crisis to benefit; this program is about cultivating resilience before the body is forced to ask louder.
If you are ready to stop starting over each January and instead begin 2026 with a supported, intentional approach to health, we invite you to join us. Space is limited to preserve the depth of care and individualized attention. Enrollment is limited, and early registration is encouraged to ensure participation and continuity throughout the program.
