Scholarships

View scholarship information for graduate and undergraduate students.

Single undergraduate students, under the age of 24 and without dependents, are considered dependent students for the purpose of financial aid. Parental income and resources as well as student resources determine financial aid eligibility for these students. 

General Scholarship Info

To be considered, applicants must:  

  • Be a first time Bastyr student or entering a new degree program after completion of first Bastyr degree  
  • Submit their application and official transcripts by the Priority Application Deadline (based on your program)  
  • Have an overall GPA of 3.0 (determined by admission transcript evaluation)   

Additional Information:

  • Graduate students are eligible for a one-year, non-renewable scholarship.
  • Undergraduate students are eligible for a renewable scholarship if an overall GPA of 3.0 is maintained while at Bastyr.

Licensed Massage Therapists may apply for the LMT scholarship. This $1,500 scholarship is renewable based on academic performance. All applicants must meet the normal requirements for the degree program, provide proof of graduation from a massage school accredited by the Commission on Massage Training Accreditation, and proof of current licensure. This scholarship is renewable and is contingent upon funding. Please apply each year through the financial aid scholarship process to secure funding. Annual deadlines are announced each year in March via all student email. 

The Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship is awarded to all admitted undergraduate students who are members of Phi Theta Kappa. All applicants must meet the normal academic requirements for the degree program and provide proof of membership in Phi Theta Kappa. Students who are members of Phi Beta Kappa are also eligible for this scholarship. This scholarship is not renewable and is contingent on funding. Please apply each year prior to March 1st to secure funding. 

The AmeriCorps/PeaceCorps Scholarship is awarded to qualified AmeriCorps or PeaceCorps alumni in recognition of academic potential in the field of Natural Health. This scholarship will provide $1,500 towards Cost of Attendance for any AmeriCorps or PeaceCorps student who is admitted to Bastyr University through the regular admissions process and provides proof of service. This scholarship is not renewable and is contingent upon funding. Please apply each year prior to March 1st to secure funding.
