About Penny Simkin: Penny, a pioneer in the maternal health and doula movement, passed away April 11, leaving behind a legacy of compassion and empowerment. She was not only an advocate and mentor but also a beloved member of our community. This celebration of her life is an opportunity for us to come together, share cherished memories, reflect on her lasting contributions, and more.
