Description: Zero Balancing (ZB) is effective at relieving a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, as well as reducing pain and inducing a deep state of relaxation. Over time, ZB sessions can change long held patterns of behavior and function, at physical and mental levels, and remove obstacles to the expression of inner wellness. Zero Balancing can help one feel stable, grounded, clear, connected, happy, relaxed, energized, youthful, and more deeply oneself. Old traumas, injuries and issues are released at the deepest layer of the body/mind - the bones.
This is the first course of the Core Zero Balancing curriculum and introduces the intellectual and practical framework of the art and science of Zero Balancing. Instructors provide a detailed study guide, clear presentations, and demonstrations of Zero Balancing. In practice sessions, students experience both how to perform Zero Balancing and how Zero Balancing feels to receive.

Michael is one of the most experienced, clear, and vibrant teachers of Zero Balancing in the worldwide community.
He lives in New York City and has taught Zero Balancing in the U.S. and Internationally since 1996.
Michael has served on the ZB Board of Directors since 1997 where he is currently t President. He is also one of the three co-directors of the Zero Balancing Teacher Training programs.
He is the developer of the ZB Form & Fulcrum l & ll, the 5 Minute ZB, The 15 Minute ZB, The Restorative ZB and ZB Fields & Fulcrums. Each year he teaches a retreat ‘ ZB by the Sea’ with Dr. Fritz Smith the founder of Zero Balancing.
Michael also has produced two teaching videos- “ The ZB Protocol review” and “ The Fifteen minute ZB”.
Michael has studied and practiced Tai Chi and Qigong since 1986 and taught Qigong for many years before teaching Zero Balancing. He was also trained and certified as a NYS EMT.
He earned an MFA degree in painting from Northwestern University and has maintained his career as a practicing artist.
