You will learn about the basic cultivation requirements for plants; learning how to integrate them into landscape design. We will work to propagate from seed and cuttings a variety of these plants; discuss their use medicinally and why they are valuable in the garden as pharmacy.

This course will provide participants with hands-on techniques on how to palpate, evaluate, and re-instate the motility, vitality, and mobility of each organ in the cardio respiratory system by positioning the organ back into alignment. Instruction will also be given on how to align the supportive capsule, neural, venous and arterial supply to the organ, which can prove to be the most influential correction when realigning the organ.

This course discusses intermittent fasting and ketogenic diet as a therapeutic modality for your patients. We will review the research on which conditions benefit from IF/ketogenic diet, risks, contraindications, appro- priate medical monitoring and blood tests, as well as how to implement these therapeutic diets. Additional- ly, we will discuss exercise and the proposed the influence of nutritional and botanical supplements on IF and ketogenic diet outcomes.

Did you know that you (the general public) can take many of the University's regular academic courses, assuming extra seats are available and you have the required prerequisites?

You can either audit classes or take them for credit. These 11-week classes, usually held on weekdays, are available in the nutrition, culinary arts, exercise science, health psychology and herbal sciences programs.
