Be the “front-line” person in answering trouble calls from Staff, Faculty, Students, and Alumni regarding network access, computers and phones at the University site. Excellent customer service is a must! Install and troubleshoot workstation software. Consult with other IT staff members and with outside vendors for guidance when necessary. Manage system-wide workstation security and anti-malware protection. Identify staff training needs, recommend training plans and provide training as needed.

Information Technology
Position type: 

This position requires at least three years’ experience providing end-user computer and networking support in an environment of 150+ users. Excellent Windows hardware and software troubleshooting skills plus strong customer service capabilities, including good communications and instruction skills, are also required. Experience with MS-Office and maintaining VoIP phone systems is preferred, and the successful candidate will have at least a two-year degree in a related field, or equivalent experience. This position also is responsible for maintaining the Audio/Visual classroom equipment in the Clinic. Please note that we are looking not just for a technician, but for a “people person” who takes pleasure in helping others.

This is a 40-hour-per-week full-time position, with a salary of $18.00 to $22.00 per hour, depending on experience.
