January 4, 2023, to March 29, 2023 Cost: $725 Registration closes December 28, 2022. Course Details: This Simkin Center doula training course is intended for those who desire a deeper dive into the curriculum as they prepare to enter doula work. Our 12-week format fosters a community of peer support with a focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion. The course is virtual, with one in-person, hands-on class (will also be offered virtually, date to be determined). This course has approximately 2 hours of course work in-between virtual meetings. This course meets or exceeds certification requirements for hours and content required by many certification organizations. This online birth doula training is not a DONA Approved Training. This training meets the birth doula workshop prerequisite for the Bastyr Midwifery Program. We offer a Course Assistant position to provide technical support for the Zoom virtual classroom in exchange for a discounted tuition. Participants receive additional information, including login information once registered.
